BYO picnic basket, drinks, rugs/chairs.

There will be Woodstack Pizzas selling delicious Pizza.

Ms Marie Kasambalis is also coordinating some fun games for students and parents alike between 5.30-6.30pm. Try your hand at an egg and spoon race, team up with a partner for the three-legged races and test your balance skills during the sack races!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

EASTER RAFFLE (Thursday 19th March)

The Prep – Grade 2 students will be displaying their amazing Easter Hats & Bonnets at the Easter Hat Parade on Thursday 19th March.

The GPA will be coordinating Easter raffles to be drawn throughout the Easter Hat Parade (with all students from Prep to Grade 6, GHPS teachers and the wider GHPS community invited to be involved in the raffle – prizes will be distributed to any GHPS winners not at the Easter Hat Parade!)

We call out to all GHPS families to please donate some goodies for our Easter Raffle baskets – donations can include Easter Eggs, Easter craft, Easter books & toys! Please donate to the Office (East Site) or into the labelled tubs in the Library & classrooms (West Site).

A notice with raffle tickets will be distributed shortly … and additional raffle tickets will be avaialable at the Office and at the Easter Hat Parade!

FRIDAY LUNCHTIME SNACKS FOR TERM 1 2020

GPA will be selling Berri Quelch Fruit Juice Sticks every Friday lunchtime during Term 1 (for students in Prep to Grade 6) from 7 February to 27 March. We do need 4 volunteers (in addition to our Lunchtime Snacks Coordinator Heidi Powell) to be able to serve the frozen fruit juice sticks!

Thanks to the wonderul Carnegie Lions Club who supported GHPS by bringing in their popcorn machine & popping up a storm last Friday 28th February. We look forward to a popcorn alternative again in Term 2 (Friday 15th May).

Please sign up via GHPS Sign Up Page if you can help!

If you haven’t pre-purchased you don’t miss out—you can purchase your icy-pole on the day for $1 each!

CAKE RAFFLE FOR TERM 1 2020

GPA will be running a Cake Raffle each Monday of Term 1 from 10 February to 23 March.

One family signs up each week to showcase their baking skills with something sweet – such as a cake, a batch of cupcakes, biscuits or slice, etc.

Students can buy tickets for $1 each to be in with a chance to win the coveted prize.

And if it is your week to bake, your child or children get their chance to take to the stage at assembly to show off what their family have provided AND draw the winning ticket!

Thanks to the Verginis family for the Hedgehog Slice supplied on Monday 2nd March. We have a break next Monday 9th March (Labour Day Public Holiday) but looking forward to see what Martina and the Gevaux family have in store for us on Monday 16th March!

This SignUp roster is filled for Term 1 – thanks everyone!
