EASTER RAFFLE (Thursday 19th March)

Thank you to everyone for your contributions to our Easter raffles that were drawn at lunchtime today! Thank you to GPA members Priyanka, Lauren & Heidi for wrapping the Easter hampers for the raffle on Monday.

Our Prep – Grade 2 students also enjoyed displaying their wonderful Easter Hat creations to their classmates today.


SANDRINGHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL FUNDRAISER (Lunchtime Snacks Friday 13th March; Casual Dress Day today Thursday 19th March)

Thanks to everyone for your support of our efforts to raise some funds for Sandringham Primary School to support them after the devastating fire that destroyed buildings and classrooms. Thanks also to all the students who supported this initiative by wearing casual clothes and providing a gold coin donation!


FRIDAY LUNCHTIME SNACKS FOR TERM 1 2020

GPA will continue to sell Berri Quelch Fruit Juice Sticks every Friday lunchtime during Term 1 (for students in Prep to Grade 6) from 7 February to 27 March. We do need 4 volunteers (in addition to our Lunchtime Snacks Coordinator Heidi Powell) to be able to serve the frozen fruit juice sticks!

CAKE RAFFLE FOR TERM 1 2020

GPA will be running a Cake Raffle each Monday of Term 1 from 10 February to 23 March.

One family signs up each week to showcase their baking skills with something sweet – such as a cake, a batch of cupcakes, biscuits or slice, etc.

Students can buy tickets for $1 each to be in with a chance to win the coveted prize.

And if it’s your turn to bake, you child will have the opportunity to draw the raffle ticket and announce the winner to the school from the Office!

Thanks to Martina and the Gevaux family for the delicious carrot cake they supplied on Monday 16th March! We look forward to what Supriya has in store for next Monday 23rd March.

Even if you are not a member you are still welcome to volunteer to help with any of the events/drives we coordinate (noting that to help at school events you are required to supply a copy of your current Working With Children Check to the School Office to be kept on file as per the VOLUNTEERS policy).

Notice from CommBank School Banking

The health, safety and wellbeing of our communities and our people is our first priority. Due to the rapidly developing situation with coronavirus, School Banking has been temporarily paused from 20 March 2020 until the start of Term 2. Please don’t bring your deposit book with your weekly banking into school and we will notify you when banking will recommence.
