Facilities
At Glen Huntly Primary School, we are fortunate to have separate Junior and Senior Sites. Each site has spacious playgrounds, grass play areas and paved areas for sports activities.
Inside the school buildings classrooms are equipped with the latest large digital screens and spacious dedicated learning areas. All spaces are air conditioned and have air purifiers.
The recent refurbishment of classroom and learning spaces make for a very exciting educational experience.
All students have access to our Art Room, Library, Science Room, Activity Centre, Music room, kitchen, Japanese room, wellbeing room and our large multi-purpose Gymnasium.
Prep (Foundation) – Year 1 Site (Junior Campus – West site)
The Junior Site houses the Foundation to Year 1 classes, as well as the Library, Activity Centre and Before/After school Care Centre. There are two fantastic playground equipment areas that are very popular with the students, as well as a large oval and paved area for games.
The Junior Site also has a large sandpit, veggie garden and a fairy garden and outdoor learning area. A large fenced off frog pond and native garden is planned for mid 2026.
Year 2 – Year 6 Site (Senior Campus – East site)
Our Senior Site provides an engaging and vibrant learning environment for students from Grade 2 through to Grade 6. The campus boasts a spacious grass oval, an exciting GaGa pit, beautifully maintained gardens, a dedicated wellbeing garden, outdoor basketball courts and two large playgrounds that encourage active play, social connection and creativity.
At the heart of the site is our 150-seat indoor gymnasium, which hosts Physical Education lessons, whole-school assemblies and special events. Students also benefit from a range of specialist facilities, including a Japanese Room, Science/STEM Room, canteen and kitchen for cooking classes, a dedicated music room where choir, guitar and band programs thrive, and a well-equipped art studio that supports creative expression.
The senior campus also hosts the front office, first aid, administration offices, student wellbeing and mental health office, a conference room and two meetings rooms.
