At Glen Huntly Primary School, we are fortunate to have separate Junior and Senior Sites. Each site has spacious playgrounds and paved areas for sports activities.

Inside the school buildings classrooms are equipped with the latest Interactive whiteboards and large dedicated learning areas. The recent refurbishment of classroom and learning spaces make for a very exciting educational experience.

All students have access to our Art Room, Library, Hall, Activity Centre, ICT Lab, Music room, LOTE room and our large multi-purpose Hall.

Foundation – Year 2 Site (West site)

The Junior Site houses all the Foundation to Year 2 classes, as well as the Art Room, Activity Centre and Before/After school Care Centre (temporarily located on the senior site due to building works). There are two fantastic playground equipment areas that are very popular with the students, as well as a large oval and paved area for games.

A large sandpit and veggie garden has been constructed by the parent community group. Students and the Garden Club participate in the planting, maintaining and caring for it. They incorporate healthy eating into their program and develop greater awareness and the importance of sustaining a healthy diet.

The Junior Site also has a fairy garden and outdoor classroom area.

A new open learning space encompassing flexible indoor and outdoor areas is currently under construction and is due to be completed and open for use at the beginning of Term 4.  More details here.

Year 3 – Year 6 Site (East)

The Senior Site has a spacious oval, basketball courts, rebound wall area and large playground for the students to utilise.  Our school Libary is on this site.

The Hall is located on the Senior Site and all Foundation – Year 6 students meet there each Friday afternoon for a Whole School Assembly. Our Music, Choir and Band classes are also held there.

The Information Technology Centre provides opportunities for all classes to expand their skills and develop communication tools for showcasing their work.
