A Great Opportunity

We have two roles needing volunteers – Kids Disco Coordinator, Term 3 Pie Lunch.

There are plenty of resources and great mentors available to help you with taking on these roles.

Kids Disco Coordinator – provisional date early August. A popular event with an established set-up as well as scope for your own embellishments!

Term 3 Pie Lunch – Friday 20th September. A well-established event and a great “entry level” GPA activity.

If you are interested in either of these roles, please email ghpsgpa@gmail.com or speak to someone from the GPA Committee.

Term 1 Activities Recap

Funds raised from our Term 1 activities will go towards a curtain to cover the Hall entry which will make for better photos when your students receive awards at Assembly.

Harmony Day Lunch

Thank you to Mr Raju and the team at Quality Groceries in Glen Huntly for supplying the samosa for our harmony day special lunch. They were delicious!!

A big thank you to our GPA helpers Sue (Thalia F), Aparna (Jishnu 3), Gayle (Alice 1) Pooja (Pranika 3), Abbi (James 6, Lewis 4, Eden 3), CC (Winston 5, Olympia 2, Coco F) Hayley (Harvey 5, Adam 3) & Fiona (Daniel 5) for serving the samosa to the very appreciative students!

Hot Cross Buns

Hopefully everyone had an extra tasty Easter enjoying the hot cross buns provided at cost by The Bread Roll Shop, Ormond to support our fundraising efforts.

We raised $225. Turns out the big easter bun fans are Prep with 31 packets ordered from our total order of 101 packets of buns.

Easter Raffle

Thank you for all those who donated Easter treats, bought tickets and helped to wrap hampers.

We enjoyed a wonderfully bright and lively Easter Hat Parade, and 16 lucky students (and teachers!) each won a delicious pack full of Easter goodies.

Mother’s Day Stall Friday 10th May

Sarah’s been busy sourcing great gifts for the popular Mother’s Day Stall.

Keep an eye out for the SignUp to volunteer on the day to run the Stall or help in the days beforehand in preparing the Goods for sale or baking tasty treats.

The home baked treats are always a popular choice of the students.
