Upcoming GPA Events
Friday 16th June – Grandparents & Special Persons Morning Tea
The GPA hosts the Grandparents and Special Persons Morning Tea.
For a successful event we need donations of sweet treats and snacks. Remember to include a list of ingredients.
Volunteers are also needed on Friday 16th June for preparation and serving. Sign Up links for this event will be posted next week.
Friday 23rd June Pizza Lunch
An opportunity to order Pizza for lunch on the last day of Term 2.
This is a fundraiser for State Schools Relief, an organisation that provides assistance with school costs, for students facing financial hardship.
Pizza Order notices will be sent out in Week 8.
Windowsills or Green Thumbs needed
Do you have space on your windowsill for 5 seedlings in small pots?
Do you or your extended family enjoy growing plants from seeds?
The GPA is planning a plant stall to accompany the Referendum Vote BBQ (anticipated late October/November) and we need volunteers to care for the seedlings in the months beforehand.
We are also taking donations of “windowsill sized” pots. Sign Up link coming soon.
Friday Icy Poles/Hot chocolates
Icy poles or a cup of hot chocolate are available Friday lunchtimes during Term 2 and continue to be very popular.
If you haven’t signed up for the term, your child can still participate by bringing $1 on the day.
Remember, BYO mug for a bonus marshmallow.
Friday cake raffle
Remember to get your ticket(s) each Friday! Tickets are $1 from the office.
Thanks to the bakers. Can’t have a cake raffle without the cake!
Term 3 Events
Sunday 16th July – GHPS Bunnings Fundraiser BBQ at Moorabbin
Bunnings BBQ slots are in high demand and a great opportunity to raise funds from the wider community.
This is an opportunity to volunteer outside standard business hours.
We will be looking for people to fill 1 or 2 hour slots on the day or just come along and buy a sausage or two!
Friday 28th July Kids Disco
A popular social event on the GPA calendar.
There will be a Junior Disco Prep – Grade 2 and a Senior Disco Grade 3 – Grade 6, on the same evening but at different times.
