Term 4 Events

Saturday 14th October 2023 Referendum BBQ & market

GHPS West site is a voting venue for the 2023 Referendum on Saturday 14th October.

In addition to the essential “democracy” sausage BBQ, the GPA is also organising a cake stall, plant stall and 2nd-hand book stall to provide our local community with the opportunity to contribute funds to our lovely school!

As the referendum is at the end of the 2nd week of Term 4, there will be a flurry of activity in preparation for this event in early October, and plenty of opportunities to Sign Up and volunteer.

Friday Icy Poles

Icy poles will continue to be on offer for Term 4.

For pre-pay, be sure to retrieve the orange notice from your child’s bag and return payment (cash only) to the classroom teacher or office by Thursday 5th October.

Great value $9 for 11 weeks of icy poles, and no need for weekly Friday morning searches for those elusive $1 coins!

You need a ticket to win! Tickets are $1 from the office, every Friday.

Term 3 Team of Champions

There must have been plenty of happy Dads and grandfathers on the 3rd of September with the gifts carefully chosen by eager students and thoughtfully sourced and prepared by Sarah and a busy team of volunteers.

Term 3 was busy and profitable for the GPA with nearly $6000 raised and plenty of stimulating events. A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered time, baked goods or other expertise to any of these events, and an EXTRA SHOUT OUT to the coordinators who are essential to these successful events.
